Happy New Year all!

I hope you’ve all had an incredible break with your loved ones and are feeling refreshed and reenergised for this coming new year.

Now I don’t know about you and I know its probably my fault for signing up to so many things (must be time for a Spring clean!) but I’m getting a little tired of all the ‘You must do this’ and the ‘You need this for a great new year’ emails, adverts and posts everywhere. Are you?

Ok don’t get me wrong I know its a fantastic time to make change or take action in your life or work if you want to, we’ve all had a break, time to reflect and now its time to get back to things.

But do we really all need a thousand things or ways or discounts and offers to get us there?

The fact that I received many of these emails and offers ON Christmas Day drove me crazy, I mean ok I know its a great time with all the fresh new year energy on its way, I know its a great time for people to market to other people too as they’re all at home with a little more time on their hands. BUT how about a break from selling for just this one day where all over the world families come together? Its a beautiful thing whether you believe in Christmas, are religious or none of the above, its special and pretty much one of the only times of the year the whole world feels quieter.

Regardless of the day though, there really does seem to be such a confusing influx of it all right now.

The whole reason I created the Chosen Wedding Collective is so that you guys have a one stop place to come, to be supported and to find out info that you may need in order to forward your business. I spent such a long time following this person or that, trying different methods, courses, schemes and ideas that eventually I got really tired, spent too much money and felt really confused. So I took it on myself to forward my own education, to provide a place where methods of getting a creative business where you want it to be actually really works, and I hope to not only provide you with this service but to save you time AND money too.

So today in my first post to you of 2016 I’m not going to ask you what goals you are setting – even though I do believe we should all have a set of goals to work towards (it gives us drive and energy to get shit done after all right?). But I’m just going to say this;

Every moment of your life matters.

Every decision, every choice you make, every moment, they matter and more often than not we have absolutely no idea how much of an effect we are having on others so not only do our moments matter to ourselves, but they matter to others too.

That said, I think its pretty important, whatever your goals are, whatever your ambitions are for the new year for your lifestyle or business, to just be present and conscious in each moment, to be awake and aware of all the wonder, of all the incredible things that surround us and that YOU are capable of.

Your voice matters. And people – be it your friends, your family or your clients – want to hear from you, they want to know what you’re up to, what you do, how and why you do it. The whole reason that this is SO integral to marketing your business and connecting with clients too is because there is NO ONE else out there like you. You’re unique, your story is unique, you’re so wonderfully you that your story, your voice does and will matter to others in both everyday life and in how you position, market and attract your ideal clients.

So get it out there. It’s that simple.

Be brave this year, be confident, find your voice, interact, reply to people you’ve not spoken to before and be darn proud that you have and are actively writing your own story, moment by moment and day by day.
Just so you know, I think you’re wonderful. I think what you’re doing following your dreams and ambitions to create better lives for you and your loved ones its incredible. Most of us have built a business from the ground up – from nothing – isn’t that just really exciting? You dear creative are quite brilliant and I hope that 2016 rewards you with all that you put in ten fold.

If you haven’t already, please do join us over in the CWC Community group on Facebook – I’m currently writing a completely free course for you all on Confidence and Comparison which I will post about in the group really soon along with much awaited news on The Hub 2016. I will also be offering further trainings to assist in any problems you may encounter on the road running your creative business. The CWC group is an incredible really supportive place to be. In the meantime if you do have any queries, questions or topics you would like me to address please do let me know, I would love to hear from you.

Much love.

I've always had an unfounded belief that anyone can be anything they want to be. Most probably fuelled by my love for Peter Pan (JM Barrie you have a lot to answer for!) I honestly believe its fully possible for anyone to create a life that they love through their creative passions. Always having had a creative heart I have spent my life dabbling in and out of various media, studied Fine Art Photography as a degree and have worked with over 3,000 creatives since starting my own business. Having reached a point where I have a great quality of life from the way I am able to work, I am now fully dedicated to helping others push forward with their own creative businesses to gain a life that they love and a business that works for them. You'll find me happiest out walking with my dog Nell, travelling the world with my Mister, working from my home studio or at the flower market gathering natures gifts for my latest photography project.
